1 Cam 4K
Built upon SubC’s time proven 1Cam product line. It has a large 1″ sensor to enable great low light footage, even in 4K resolution. If the system does not have a fiber optic link, video and stills can be recorded to 512GB of storage.

Live 4K UHD video over fiber optics
4K, HD and stills recording
Designed as a 4K UHD 18x zoom camera for systems equipped with fiber optics links, providing live 2160/30p video topside with the low latency inherit of fiber optics. Live SD and HD video is also available, as well as 20 megapixel digital stills and internal HD recording as a backup. SubC stocks cameras in 1270nm wavelength. Other CWDM wavelengths are available.
The stock model includes external strobe output, programmable intervals, IR filter and many more features to add capability to a system.

Full Titanium Anti-corrosion
The 1Cam 4K is built with a standard depth rating of 3000m. The housing is stainless steel and the window is sapphire. There are 5200m and 6000m Titanium versions available
SubC is able to build its equipment using materials capable of very long deployments. UV lights can be integrated to extend these deployments and keep marine growth from forming on the optics.
A 1Cam has been deployed on a National Science Foundation ocean observatory since 2013 and is still operational. See live video of the camera here. The lights are on every 3 hours to preserve the natural environment.

Ethernet or USB transfer
Footage and stills can be transferred via Ethernet or USB depending on which option is selected at point of sale. Ethernet has the advantage of being compatible with subsea systems while USB can be simpler for some applications. The interface box delivered with the camera is compatible with the transfer type. |
